Breakthrough Separation and Purification Technology

BioCapture is a Pennsylvania Limited Liability Company with patent-pending technologies for the RAPID and CLEAN separation, purification and identification of biological materials. The Company's CAPs^tm technology effectively separates cells, proteins, nucleic acids and carbohydrates from undiluted complex mixtures of biological samples including whole blood, bone marrow and fermentation broth. The capture agent coupled to the particle will determinethe binding specificity of the particles and, thereby, the application.

This CAPs technology is a dramatic improvement over existing separation and purification technologies.

This breakthrough technology will enable life sciences research, commercial and clinical laboratories, diagnostics, purification of therapeutic proteins and high throughput screening.

There are numerous applications for this technology. Different applications will require different capture agents and different coupling procedures. The development of a particle for each new application is rapid for small scale separation. The Company will offer custom products for customers with projects requiring specific capture agents.

The Company will continually add to its existing pipeline of products to satisfy its customers' ever changing needs.

The Company occupies space and shares facilities in the Pennsylvania Biotech Center of Bucks County in Doylestown, PA.
